Out of Amitrityline and Trazodone, what would be more likely to help with OCD? - ocd more condition_symptoms
I take Citalopram is the generic for Celexa and I have a few weeks. but I have some pain in his back. I want to start trazodone or amitriptyline because they have realized magagment helped pain. I have a mild form of obsessive compulsive disorder, and I found that Trazodone and amitriptyline for OCD and Certina types of pain can be useful.
When I switch between trazodone and amitriptyline, which would better choose to help relieve OCD?

It's something that really needs in order to be discussed between you and your doctor. I know that Trazodone is now rarely used, since it is much more effective drugs with fewer side effects. I am not with Amitrityline. I think you should tell your doctor and not defining the decisions not to two. Zoloft has been very effective in the treatment of my OCD and has fewer side effects. In addition, Paxil is also used to treat anxiety disorders, including obsessive compulsive disorder.

I have OCD and my doctor has me on Paxil. I'm not in, but a little support.

I did the migraine prevention and amitriptyline was what it ideal for pain relief. You do not need it, so do not take longer. I had weight gain with it though.

Trazodone celexa long sleep and gives different results. Paxil may work, but has side effects that can be upseting. ) (Nightmares, sexual side effects you talk about taking Prozac? It comes in a form and is now quite amzing genreic patients I've ever seen. Just make sure to take Prozac, which begins with a very small increase mg dose 5 andgradually .... .... .... 10 mg to 15 mg, etc. .. Otherwise, have serious side effects! Good luck!
